Design that speaks for you

Rules for positioning content on your site for the client

When you start filling your site with content, you'll probably find yourself asking ," What should I tell you?" Despite the uniqueness of each business, there are proven methods that will help your site not only look attractive, but also motivate users to take action.

Here are our top five recommendations for filling out a website that will help strengthen your brand.

1. Put the customer first

This is the basic rule that underlies all further actions, but it is worth explaining. Many businesses mistakenly create websites that focus only on themselves, telling about their history and listing all the features of their products and services.

Although such information is important, it does not convey the main thing: understanding the client's problem and offering a unique solution. You need to make sure that the site user feels: "They understand me!". Your content should then clearly explain how your suggestions will benefit the user.

2. Find your Ideal Customer

You probably already know what your customers need. However, in order for this to be reflected on the site, you need to study their needs more deeply.

What are the main problems and frustrations associated with your field? What do they hope to achieve? What aspects of your life do you want to improve? What kept them from changing before? What are their main dreams?

The better you understand the reality of your customers, the more accurately you can adapt your site to their needs. Conduct interviews or surveys among the target audience.

3. Focus on the benefits

Which skincare product would you buy: one that lists all the ingredients, or one that talks about how one key ingredient reduces wrinkles by 98%? Consumer goods companies excel in highlighting the benefits of their products, while other businesses may not always emphasize this aspect effectively.

Use the results of your interviews to tailor the text on your site to key benefits that are important to your customers.

4. Simplify the purchase or booking process

The main goal of your site is to turn visitors into buyers. Start with content that makes customers understood to build trust and connection. Place strategically important calls to action (CTAs) such as "Buy Now," "Make an Appointment," or "Learn More" to help them make a decision.

5. Offer more than just a sale

Not every visitor to your site are ready to buy on their first visit. Therefore, it is important to include content that helps customers, even if they are not yet ready to purchase. These can be articles, videos, e-books, or case studies.

Ending

Investing time in focusing on your customers from the very beginning will bring returns in the future. Your site needs to grow and evolve with you, so don't be afraid to experiment and make changes. Fortunately, companies like Labpics simplify this process.
